Grandma K has been our Florence Nightingale these past few weeks. Showing up with homemade Coq au Vin, bottles of wine and organic milk. What would we do without family!? It’s been especially helpful since I had to return to work! Some pics of Grandma K with an alert Charlotte. Check out that neck control, not bad for 20 days old!

Wake up Charlotte, we’re heading out
Charlotte loves to sleep. Here’s what she looks like pretty much before any outing!
Organic Wool
Charlotte has two lovely grandmothers that have been all over the lower mainland sourcing the best local organic wool. Grandma ‘K’ and Grandma ‘C’ respectively. Grandma C has spun some of their findings into the beautiful blankets you see here.
Hey bartender…
Growing every day, Charlotte is feediing like a champ. We decided to bottle some of the good stuff so Dad could have a turn and give Mom a break. Charlotte is very social and has discovered the luxurious expanse of our bed. We give her loads of cuddle time in the bed then it’s off to the bassinet for sleep. These photos were taken this morning right after a bath. We’ll be saving bath times for the evening as she was out like a light!
The Sun came out for lunch
The rain stopped for a moment so we walked to Au Petit Chavignol on East Hastings for lunch. This was Charlotte’s first official food date and it was superb! The cream of wild mushroom and garlic soup with truffle oil was brilliant, followed by Croque Monsieur, Butter Lettuce salads and Green Peppercorn Poutine.
Charlotte Comes Home
Here’s Charlotte right before we left the hospital for home.
Orange—so hot right now
