Thought these great little leg warmers deserved a blog post. Along with Grandma C’s knitted red boots, this outfit turns Charlotte into a little fashion plate. I think Bjork could pull this look off. Check the lighting on the last photo, the sun was so bright it looks like studio lighting. Nice shooting Jody!
We had a fab birthday brunch courtesy of Grandma C for Charlotte, Jody and Grandma K. Homemade bread made from wheat we planted back in the summer with Urban Grains, mussels from Saltspring Island and some well chilled Prosecco. This was followed by chocolate cake and more knitwear from Grandma C. Every Sunday should be so civilized!
The rain stopped for a moment so we walked to Au Petit Chavignol on East Hastings for lunch. This was Charlotte’s first official food date and it was superb! The cream of wild mushroom and garlic soup with truffle oil was brilliant, followed by Croque Monsieur, Butter Lettuce salads and Green Peppercorn Poutine.
