Herman Miller

Our studio has been featured on the Herman Miller blog and reposted on Apartment Therapy. Jody has such good taste… Charlotte loves ‘working’ side by side with us in our new space. The house is on this year’s West Van Modernism Tour. We’re not dying to have 200 people come through the house but feel like we need to share the ideals in the name of preserving these great old post & beam houses that are slowly disappearing.
More updates to come! Photos by Tina Kulic.

Van Dusen

We’ve become official members of Van Dusen Gardens up on Oak at 37th. We’ve been going there on Fridays after work these warm summer nights and have found it a great way to decompress after 40 hours of working with technology. Charlotte really loves it and we highly recommend it to anyone. The place is empty on Friday evenings, it’s cheaper than the spa and more effective than counselling. Nature has the answers…

Run Chaka Run

Charlotte is quite the little runner, so much so that I thought she deserved a pair of proper running shoes. We popped into New Balance downtown to get get fitted. Charlotte loves them and is looking forward to a jog ddown at Jericho this weekend.

MOA

Spent a rainy Saturday morning up at one of our favourite places, the Museum of Anthropology. Designed of course by the late great Arthur Erickson, the quality of natural light in the museum makes even the greyest day feel positive. Thank you Arthur! The Haida and Coast Salish artifacts never cease to impress and Bill Reid’s work is always incredible. I’m not sure what’s more impressive, the artifacts inside or the building itself. They both work beautifully together to a create truly special piece of Vancouver.
