Had a perfect breakfast at Little Nest this morning. This place completely restores my faith in Vancouver—we all need proper poached eggs and less mega casinos. Charlotte had the kids French Toast… Superb.

Winter is Here
Charlotte got a chance to wear some of her Arctic gear this weekend, -3 already!!! We had fun on the swings, coffee at the Wilder Snail, Dim-Sum at the Kirin, Stanley Park for a walk then Noodle Box for dinner. We love winter (but not as much as our upcoming trip to Hawaii on Dec 5)…
Sleepwalking
Charlotte didn’t hit any of her naps on Wednesday so Dad took her for a walk around the Sea Wall to get some sunshine and fresh air. She was out like a light before we even hit Science World. Works like a charm.
Skunk Problem
There’s been a recent skunk problem in some of Vancouver’s parks. On Halloween we photographed a skunk that had taken over the playground at our beloved McClean Park. It’s just not safe to go out anymore…
Happy 12 Months!
Today Charlotte is 1! She’s been a bit under the weather but managed to put on her skunk costume for her monthly photo. Happy Birthday Charlotte! More photos to follow. PS-Jody made the costume.

Charlotte is already picking out her favourite records from the collection. So far she’s leaning towards ‘Italo Disco’ and early House music. I wonder what she’ll be pulling from the shelves when she’s a teenager? What will be ironic then?
Happy 11 Months!
Charlotte is now 11 months old and doing all sorts of fun things. Bum-scooting, table-walking, pointing to various body parts, lots of laughing and new vocal tricks, she really is living life to the fullest. Her one year birthday is just around the corner, now to think of a Halloween costume…
