Jody took me out for a superb dinner this evening for my birthday. We walked down to Campagnolo for a perfect Spring meal. Life is very good. I also came home to a brand new C.F Martin acoustic guitar from Charlotte & Jody—speechless. Thank you!

Charlotte had a nice visit with Grandad A and Granny K on Sunday. Fresh in from Palm Springs en route to various destinations including the Okanagan, Europe and Finland. We’re hoping to join these two global villagers in Scandinavia soon. Between our two families, Charlotte will be familiar with both sides of the pond in no time. You’ll notice these photos are looking extra special thanks to my new camera!
A new family tradition has begun at our house. We walk the sea wall to a certain market on Cambie Street, usually on Sundays. Here’s a rough look at our route—Google Maps doesn’t understand the term “sea wall”. It turns out to be about 8 km there and back, just enough time for Charlotte catch some sleep.
Here’s Charlotte gleefully relaxing on her new play area whilst a rogue wooly strawberry bounces past her. Happy Friday everyone! Charlotte also wanted you all to know that she sleeps without a swaddle now and has done for 3 weeks. The kid is growing up.
Not sure how this photo escaped being blogged but it’s here now. Just looking at some photos from November and couldn’t believe how much Charlotte has changed and grown. Some of the early photos are down right hilarious. Ever notice how celebrities don’t publish their baby’s photos until after 6 months? It’s true—babies look more like little turkeys than the little angels they become. This photo (at the spa) clearly shows how Charlotte felt about having her picture taken before she had reached 6 months old.
