Where does the time go?
Some summer fun at the Ucluelet Aquarium and Long Beach in Tofino. The aquarium is great because it’s features only local sea creatures that get released back to the wild every few weeks.
Having fun on the Empress grounds waiting for Mommy before our walk to Emily Carr’s house in James Bay.
Pitched a tent with some Brits who have a plot of land on Galiano Island this past weekend. A truly unplugged weekend complete with unfinished outhouse! Charlotte loved getting in touch with some precious nature which is what we all really need. Charlotte also had fun with her 6 year old pal Lilly. Is it always summer on Galiano?
Great show today at the Centennial Theatre in North Van. Charlotte had a great time. Huge thanks for Nana for being one of the volunteers that helped pull this off! If you see Nana soon, buy her a drink! Watch Charlotte lose her crown at around the 1 minute mark then collect it without missing a beat!
Stopped by our friend Gailan Ngan’s studio sale on Saturday followed by a Gin and dress up at Gagas. Looking forward to a visit with Gailan and her dad Wayne Ngan this summer up at their studio on Hornby!
Despite living in Eagle Harbour surrounded by trees and close to the beach, we still love spending a little time at Van Dusen Gardens. Having year round access to this incredible place is such a great thing. It feels like a private club (sans tennis courts) complete with licensed patio and 55 acres of botanical gardens all for about $100/year for the entire family. Every time we go it feels like an investment in well being. Daddy was also shooting some footage of the forgotten Forest Education Centre found within the property. We’re going to be working with Van Dusen and the Parks Board to see if we can come up with a plan to help reignite this incredible facility. Send ideas in the comments section!
