Charlotte’s second Christmas on earth was a success. Classic food, simple presents and lots of laughs. She absolutely loves her wooden stove.

Paris
After the Loire Valley we drove back to Paris for five nights where we stayed in a sweet little apartment in the Latin Quarter. In the words of NYC photographer Bill Cunningham, “I come to Paris to educate my eyes…” More photos can be seen here.
Halloween
Here’s some more pics of Charlotte on Halloween. Had a great time exploring our neighbourhood where so many people go all out. Charlotte loved the pumpkins (aka babies), the haunted houses and even the fireworks!
Bike Route to Trout Lake
Rode our bikes up to the Trout Lake Farmers Market this morning. Check the neighbourhood book exchange found on the Woodland Bike Route. So many good things happening in East Van including the free Bike Valet. Charlotte ate 5 local bio-dynamic Apricots in as many minutes.
Hang It All
Ever since Charlotte was born I’ve taken on a new handy man persona. Before Charlotte I used to loathe fixing things or even putting things together. Now that I have a little one looking up to me I feel there isn’t any odd job I can’t handle. For instance today I installed an Eames ‘Hang It All‘ in Charlottes room without so much as a curse word (maybe one curse word and a brief moment of panic). This wooden ball classic was designed in California in 1953 by Charles & Ray Eames. Who says you have to stop buying beautiful furniture once you have kids?
Patio with Pig
Charlotte loves going up and down our little step over and over and over… Her friend pig is always along for the ride.
