This one’s for the grandmas – Charlotte in a dress! Yes, she has been known to wear one occasionally.
Fashionista!
Here’s Charlotte modelling her newest hat/cardi set from Grandma C. We’re told it’s for camping and getting grubby but we don’t think so! Lovely.
Lounging
Not such a fan of tummy time but Charlotte loves to show off her sitting skills!
Happy 10th Mom & Dad!
Today is our 10th wedding anniversary and Charlotte is very happy for us. It was 10 years ago today Mommy and Daddy took off for the desert and got married. I seem to remember promising Grandma C and Grandma K a proper wedding once things settled down. We’ll see about that…
Cheers to all.
Rogue Wooly Strawberry
Here’s Charlotte gleefully relaxing on her new play area whilst a rogue wooly strawberry bounces past her. Happy Friday everyone! Charlotte also wanted you all to know that she sleeps without a swaddle now and has done for 3 weeks. The kid is growing up.
No cameras please
Not sure how this photo escaped being blogged but it’s here now. Just looking at some photos from November and couldn’t believe how much Charlotte has changed and grown. Some of the early photos are down right hilarious. Ever notice how celebrities don’t publish their baby’s photos until after 6 months? It’s true—babies look more like little turkeys than the little angels they become. This photo (at the spa) clearly shows how Charlotte felt about having her picture taken before she had reached 6 months old.
Strathcona Community Gardens
I rode my bike home from work today along the sea wall in the middle of an April shower. By the time I hung my bike up in the garage and walked through the front door, the sun had come back out. The light was so beautiful I couldn’t resist taking Charlotte for a stroll down to the community gardens for a bit of ‘lovely’. You’ll notice that Charlotte dosen’t need the ‘Cocoon‘ for the stroller anymore. We got down to the gardens and just sat—the air was filled with the fragrance of Spring. Life is indeed beautiful.
