Just going through some older photos and this series caught my eye. As we approach summer you can feel the chill in these photos taken at Lighthouse Park in December of last year. All seasons are beautiful if you know where to go!

Some lazy iPhone snaps of Chaka in her natural habitat.
Charlotte got an early Christmas present from her friends Vince & Venus in the form of tickets to Van Dusen’s Festival of Lights. There was a 2 hour lineup that we were able to bypass on account of the tickets. Charlotte raced around and had a blast exploring all the trails, lights and frozen ponds. The new Busby designed building is open and we were happy to see that they’ve maintained a good portion of the original Mid Century structure. Advice to those that wish to attend—buy tickets during the day then view at night. Avoid that line!
We hit two birds (caw) with one stone this morning by way of brunch with Gaga and some network upgrades courtesy of our good friend Arliss. Charlotte picked flowers, we sipped Prosecco and Arliss set us a new wireless photo server for Gaga. Productive and delicious!
We all walked up to Commercial Drive this morning to get some shoes for Charlotte and have brunch at Little Nest. The neighbourhood is alive with activity, birds, blossoms and flowers. Charlotte still insists on holding our hands but is quite a determined little walker.
Charlotte got a chance to wear some of her Arctic gear this weekend, -3 already!!! We had fun on the swings, coffee at the Wilder Snail, Dim-Sum at the Kirin, Stanley Park for a walk then Noodle Box for dinner. We love winter (but not as much as our upcoming trip to Hawaii on Dec 5)…
